AWS Marketplace listing and more
This month we launch Testable’s integration into the AWS Marketplace. Sign up and pay for Testable on your AWS bill. Several other improvements include longer test history, new scheduling features, first class support for screenshots, on demand test runner improvements, and more. Read on for more details.
AWS Marketplace
We have fully integrated Testable with the AWS Marketplace. This means you can sign up and pay for Testable on your AWS bill. Sign up via our marketplace listing and follow the steps. Check out our documentation for more details.
Longer Improved Test History
View up to 90 days of test history, including a new pass/fail indicator, in one easy to use view.

Choose recent, 7 days, 1 month, or 3 months of history. The blue bars indicate successful tests while the red ones correspond to a failure. Zoom and click on a column to drill into the detailed test results.
Improved Scheduling
Several new test scheduling features have been added.
Pause/Resume Schedule
Test schedules can be paused indefinitely either on the website or via our API. This can be useful during a maintenance window for example.

Exclusion Windows
For tests that are run on a recurring schedule, add one or more recurring exclusion windows. These can be monthly, weekly, daily, or hourly. The test will not run if it falls into any of the specified exclusion windows.

Screenshots
If your test scenario captures screenshots we have made several improvements in how those are displayed within the test results.
Browser based tools like Selenium Webdriver.io, Phantomjs, and Slimerjs support capturing screenshots and Testable supports capturing them.
New Images Widget
Add the new widget on the test results by selecting the Add Images option in the action menu in the upper-right. It will display up to 100 of the most recent screenshots captured during your test. Clicking any image will display a larger preview of it in your browser.

View Images Without Download
The Files tab in the results has always made screenshots available for download. If you click on an image, it will display a larger preview in the browser. This is also true of screenshots captured during a smoke test.
On Demand Test Runners
If your test runs using on demand EC2 instances we have made several improvements.
Start On Partial Failure
If one or more of the EC2 instances fails to start, the test starts anyway after scaling down the number of concurrent users accordingly.
Detailed View of EC2 Instances

See infrastructure progress as well as detailed instance information for your test including status, host names, region, errors, etc.

Try out the new features and let us know if you have any feedback or concerns. Happy testing!
