Introducing Testament Bible

Hello World, my name’s Kevin Issac, an indie developer hailing from Kerala, India. I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been on working on an update for the Testament Bible app.

Testament Bible initially came to life out of curiosity while I was developing my songbook app called Song of Songs. I thought, “If you have songbook app, then why not a Bible app?” And despite being available to the public for over 2 years, the app didn’t receive much attention or user engagement as I didn’t prioritise its promotion.

However, this time around, I’ve decided to work on the app from ground up and enhance the app further, mostly focusing on the stability, simplicity and readability of the application to provide you with a better Bible reading experience along with prioritising promotion.

The updated Testament Bible features an entirely new interface removing many complex elements from the application. This revamp to the app aims to enhance your Bible reading experience significantly.

In addition to the interface revamp, this version of Testament Bible introduces several new features and improvements:

1. An in-built transliteration feature, currently available for the Malayalam language, with support for more languages coming soon.

2. Dark Mode for comfortable reading in low-light conditions.

3. The ability to customize font size and choose from various reading themes.

4. Access to offline Bible text, allowing for uninterrupted reading even without an internet connection.

5. Features such as highlighting, note-taking, comparison of different Bible versions, and related Bible verses.

6. Ability to create custom Bible verse images for Social media sharing.

7. A redesigned library page structured like folders, offering convenient access to highlights, bookmarks, notes, and in-app content like videos, podcasts, and images.

And much more. I’m truly excited to share this updated version of Testament Bible with you and hope you enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed developing it.
