Can I haz all the Stacks?

A collection of all the tools you need for a variety of tasks.

The right tool for the right job, that’s what they say. What if your job needs a lot of tools? The collection of tools that you use for a particular job is what you call your stack.

Software developers usually refer to collection of the technologies that they use as their stack, which is probably where the name came from and it probably just stuck. Web developers had their AMP (Apache, MySQL, PHP) stacks and after a time, MEAN (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node) stacks became a fad.

Other jobs also took on the trend and made their own lists/stacks — beautifully arranged in their own sites.
