Texas Veterans are valued members of our communities who have served, led and set an example for citizens across the state and nation. The impact our Veterans make in their daily lives inspires us, and recently sparked the creation of a new program that will serve to further encourage and motivate post 9/11 Veterans to continue giving back to our communities.
The Next Gen Warrior show aims to tell success stories of Afghanistan and Iraq War Veterans. From Major General Anthony Cucolo, to 1st Lt. Molly Mae Potter, these success stories illustrate the transition from military to civilian life. I even had the chance to record my own episode a few weeks ago.
Through this show, we have had the privilege of honoring our Texas Veterans, sharing their success stories and learning how we can help ease military transitions in the future. Whether it’s finding that first post-military job or receiving counseling for PTS, there is help available. It is our desire and mission to see Veterans flourish as they come home and prepare for what lies ahead.
