Mea Williams— U.S. Navy Veteran
On this special edition, Mea Williams has a message for women Veterans: “You are not alone”. Mea spent 6.5 years in the U.S. Navy and she is the President and CEO of Grace After Fire.
Grace After Fire is a non-profit that empowers women Veterans and connects them to the resources they need to transition back into civilian life. They provide comradery, financial aid, and mental/physical health support for women Veterans through support groups and an annual retreat.
Check out how Grace After Fire taught Mea to be a leader, and why even when she was afraid, she took risks to grow professionally after leaving the military to continue to serve and lead in her community.

Next Gen Warrior is hosted by Dan Hamilton, born and raised in Katy, Texas, Dan enlisted in the Marine Corps after graduating from high school in 2005. During his five years of service, he was stationed at the Marine Corps Barracks in Washington, DC, and deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan leaving at the rank of Sergeant.
He earned his undergraduate degree in U.S Government from the University of Texas at Austin and served as President of the Student Veterans Association. He now hosts the Next Gen Warrior podcast.
