Tragically, our country is losing 555 World War II Veterans a day, according to the Department of Veterans Affairs. Many won’t have an opportunity to see the World War II memorial honoring their service and sacrifice in person.

That’s what pushed Veterans Earl Morse and Jeff Miller to band together in 2007 to create the Honor Flight Network (HFN). HFN escorts WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War Veterans to see their respective memorials in DC, entirely free of charge.

Ten years later, in 2017, 140 Honor Flight Network regional hubs operate across the US. There are nine Texas hubs, grouped under the Texas Honor Flight Connection.

Texas Honor Flight Connection was created to extend the unique opportunity of Honor Flight to all the Veterans who live in the great state of Texas.

Texas Honor Flight has nine hubs:

Plus, there’s a Southern New Mexico hub that supports Veterans in the El Paso area.

Each hub operates independently and has its own webpage, where you can see the counties served. You will also find the application documents and information on becoming a guardian or volunteer.

To sign up to take part in an Honor Flight, as a Veteran or as a volunteer, or sign-up a loved one, head to your nearest Honor Flight hub’s website.
