We want to recognize U.S. Army National Guard William Yoss as we remember the 68th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice this month.

He and thousands of his fellow soldiers, sailors Marines and airmen helped hold the line on the spread of Communism in the region.

William Yoss joined the U.S. Army National Guard in September 1950. He was assigned to the 45th Infantry Division and did a tour in Korea during the war. He now resides at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, Texas

You can listen to his story here: Yoss, William (voicesofveterans.org)
