Zoom@Noon

In June, the Texas Veterans Land Board launched its new Wednesday Zoom@Noon summer series. It’s a 30-minute Zoom webinar open to all, with a short VLB presentation followed by a question and answer session. It’s a great way to learn more about VLB and get those burning loan questions answered. It’s so successful that we’re continuing with the series through the fall. If you’d like to join us on Wednesday, all you have to do is register.

Maverick

In July, the VLB introduced its first Artificial Intelligence assistant, Maverick. He’s now helped more than 300 Veterans with questions and pointed the way to webpages where viewers can get more detailed information. He’s standing by 24x7 to help you navigate the VLB website or provide other general answers to commonly asked questions.

The two topics that Maverick is asked about the most are land sales and land loans. He reminds everyone that you don’t have to buy land through the VLB to take advantage of the unique Texas land loan program for Veterans and Military Members.

Tried and True

You can still reach us through the Veterans Call Center every weekday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at 800–252–8387, shoot us an email at VLBinfo@glo.texas.gov, or complete the “Contact Us” form. We’d love to hear from you.
