Veteran of the Week: USMC Veteran Michael Glaze

Our “Veteran of the Week” is U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran Michael Glaze, who lives at the William R. Courtney Texas State Veterans Home in Temple. He served from 1968–1970 as a Motor Vehicle Operator.
He earned a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device and a Rifle Sharpshooter Badge. He said knowing that he could depend on his fellows Marines was what he liked most about serving.
Living with other Veterans, especially other combat Veterans, is one of the things he enjoys about the Veterans Home.
