Today, April 8, William “Bud” McDearman Jr. is turning 100 years old! While Bud is not able to celebrate with loved ones, it’s not every day that a WWII and Korean War Veteran turns 100 years old.

Bud asked for virtual birthday messages, and YOU came together to make it happen. Chairman of the Veterans Land Board George P. Bush asked the community to come together and ensure that, despite the circumstances, this courageous Veteran’s 100th birthday is properly celebrated.

And YOU came together to make it happen! #HappyBirthdayBud

About Bud McDearman

Bud was born in Hamby, Texas and served in the Navy from 1937–1950. He then served in the Air Force from 1950–1959 and retired as a Sr. Master Sergeant.
