5 COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS ON THE HEALTH, LIFE SPAN, TEMPERAMENT & ATHLETICISM IN THE AMERICAN BULLY BREED
There are many misconceptions about the American Bully breed. Almost daily, negative comments are left on photos & videos of our dogs on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube videos. The recurring theme: the American Bully breed is an unhealthy, overweight, man-made breed of dog… and that was has been done to the American Pit Bull Terrier is “absolutely disgusting. ”
These comments are usually left by those who have little to no real life experience with the American Bully breed. Usually based off of assumptions or hearsay about issues prevalent in similar, yet different breeds of dog. Their logic- because a variation of the breed, or similar breeds have had issues that they’ve seen or heard about (namely health problems, discomfort, trouble walking/running ) then all related breeds must.
But, you cannot group several different breeds, types and breeders under a single umbrella and condemn them…
