Here Sofia’s main points during this episode:
- Be curious and truly interested in tech. No need to learn how to programme as such, but you need to be curious and want to understand how thinks work.
- Always make the most out of your job and try to improve the processes. Use technology to your advantage and do not just take “what is given” or follow what they tell you “works”. Be creative, be unique and approach candidates in ways you think can work.
- Be curious not only about technologies but about the people you work with, the candidates you approach and that you worked with in the past. As Sofia says: “Try to really understand a person before you reach out.” It will help you talk to candidates in a way that they appreciate.
Sofia’s episode is inspiring and full of ideas for new tech recruiters on tools to use and how to make the most out of this new path. Tech recruitment can be an exciting job — listen to her and get excited about all the things you can do!
