Jackie Wilson was an American singer and performer known as “Mr. Excitement”. He was an R&B, Soul, Pop, and Rock and Roll singer. He had great hits like “Lonely Teardrops”, “Your Love Keeps Lifting Me Higher”, and “Baby Work Out”. Jackie started singing in the 50's.

It is true that sometimes history repeats itself. Jackie has a son that looks and sounds just like him. His name is Bobby Brooks Wilson. His father’s music and legacy lives on through him.

I do not know the exact year, but I thought I saw a man impersonate Jackie Wilson on Apollo a long time ago. I wondered then if Jackie Wilson had a son because he looked and performed too much like Jackie. It might have been Bobby. I thought, “Somebody ought to grab him, and sign him to a record deal fast.” Today, as I see sons of legends, I thought about the man that I thought I had seen looking and performing like Jackie. That’s how I found Bobby searching the Internet. Such a man did exist.
