Yes, those are Joveralls.

Cul•ture — Nin•ja

1. an individual trained to share and promote the set of shared attitudes, values, goals, and practices that characterize TextNow.

informal
2. The TextNow culture mascots.

Just last week, TextNow moved into an amazing new office space named Evolv1, and along with this big change Greg Silva (VP of People & Culture at TextNow) introduced the TextNow Culture Ninjas.

This move was the perfect time to assemble the Ninjas, a crack squad of TextNowvians who embody TextNow’s culture and promote it across the company. The idea is that it is the employees who own and develop the culture, and not just the People & Culture team, and therefore it is everyone’s responsibility to demonstrate our company values.

We have many creative and engaged employees here at TextNow, and getting this group [of culture ninjas] organized was a way to add muscle behind driving our culture. — Greg Silva

We want our employees to work hard and create cool shit, but we also want to be clear that we are a team and collaborating together is an important value for us. So when planning for this big office move, the Culture Ninjas organized daily events throughout our first week in Evolv1. This was not only to get everyone familiar with the new space, but also to remind them that team work makes the dream work. We had everything from an on-site barista to kick off the week right, to an epic foosball tournament, to a week-long scavenger hunt!

At the end of the day, one of our goals is to make TextNow the best place to work, and what’s better than being excited about where you work and who you work with?

Thanks to our Culture Ninjas we’ve hit the ground running and we won’t be slowing down anytime soon. TextNow employees can look forward to many more fun events that will continue to promote and represent our culture for years to come!
