Blockchain Saturday with Tezos
On the 21st of December, Tezos India organized the “Blockchain Saturday with Tezos” meetup in Hyderabad. We had an awesome experience over there and thought that it would be great to share what we have observed.
As Hyderabad is well known as the City of Information Technology and Engineering Consultancy abbreviated as HITEC City. The Global meetup had broad business and tech elements to engage people beyond the Tezos and blockchain communities. Tezos India received lots of interest from the attendees. Thought leaders and experts on digital assets, capital markets, proof of stake networks, blockchain development, and more, gave presentations and sat on discussion panels covering a wide range of topics.

40 Developers, entrepreneurs, academics and blockchain veterans convened to meet in person (some for the very first time) and share experiences working with their local communities. Tezos India Foundation President Om Malviya presented about Tezos and the difference between other PoS platforms. The talk did make an impact on educating people about Tezos.
Our special guest Vishakh from Cryptonomic Tech explained the tooling around Tezos and his personal experience about the Tezos amendments.
Cryptonomic is an NYC-based startup committee for decentralization and digital sovereignty. They provide tools and smart contracts which enable higher-level decentralized and consortium applications.
Developers, entrepreneurs, academics, blockchain veterans, the newly crypto-curious — all gathered together after the conference for good food, drinks, and conversation.
