Tezos Community Events — September

Hello Tezos Community!
As we enter longer nights, shorter days, and say goodbye to an incredible Summer that marked the 1 year anniversary of Tezos. We welcome an even busier Fall for the Tezos ecosystem with a great line-up of events for September and a solid foundation of community tools to build on. September will feature the first Eastern Europe Hackathon for Tezos, community growth in Africa, and a significant global summit, TQuorum, taking place in NYC. First, Let’s talk about some notable achievements this past summer:
Babylon 2.0
Babylon 2.0 is the second successful proposal for Tezos that reached Quorum for exploratory phase and is well underway in the testing phase. After the testing phase, the Tezos protocol will enter the promotion phase in which delegates will cast their vote if they would like to activate the new upgrade on the main chain.
Tezos Agora
In collaboration with TQ & Tezos Commons (TC), and after months of development, we are extremely excited to launch Tezos Agora. Tezos Agora is the first governance explorer + discussion forum for Tezos with a comprehensive dashboard for current proposals. Learn more about mission behind Agora and the future roadmap for the platform here.
“Informed stakeholders and a healthy, off-chain discourse are necessary precursors to a healthy, representative amendment process. “— Jacob Arluck, Enter Agora
