Dedicated to all those who have lost their lives to the fear and hatred born of ignorance and antipathy, and to those who continue the struggle to more-than-survive, I bow my head on this Transgender Day of Remembrance. Wishing peace, peace, peace.
22 transgender people have been murdered in the US in 2018.
82% were transgender women of color.
74% were misgendered by police or media.
