An Ode to Autumn
a tribute to its colours — a poem
The sky — azure blue
The sunshine — pumpkin yellow
The grass — lush green
The gardenia — iceberg white
The roses — blushing pink
The trees — firing crimson,
The leaves- burnt yellow, saffron orange, and ruby red
Look out — seems Autumn has spilled its colour palette!
What a beautiful contrast, Spring and Autumn, and both seasons are my favourite times of the year!
Spring brings novelty, and Autumn brings stability and mellowness. Just like the pumpkins turning burnt yellow on the wine, life seems calm, gracious, and grateful!
It is time to bake a pumpkin pie! I’ll have to find a good recipe.
In the southern hemisphere, it is Autumn time!
