“Animals are a gift from above for they truly define the words unconditional love.”
Heather Wolf

We love to take good care of the wild animals around us. It is such a joy to see the squirrels running to enjoy some peanuts: or the birds swoop in to gather sunflower seeds.

In 2020, my husband came up with the idea of an innovative squirrel feeder. He took a dryer vent tube and filled the center with nuts. That way, the squirrels would not have to compete with the blue jays for their prized food.

In another area, a birdbath hangs from our maple tree. It serves as a squirrel and bird feeder. When I add a seed mix, big and small birds alike can join the party.

We love to share our abundance and good fortune with the animals in our garden. They visit us with open hearts, seeming to say: Thank you for the food and good care you betow upon
