1. Scholarship Recipient Stewardship

Cat herding is the best way to describe trying to manage a group of scholarship students into successfully completing a thank you letter worthy of sending.

Take a break from that cat-tastrophy and step into a much more purrfect scenario. Record a video for your students that instructs them on what they must say, and then let them creatively record a message for you to pass along to their donor. Imagine how much more meaningful a video with a glimpse into the student’s life would be than a note!

2. Manage your Giving Day Social Media Ambassadors

Basically we’re saving you from all the cat herding because social media ambassadors are a must have for any Giving Day campaign. They need to cut through the clutter and help organically spread your campaign for the duration of the time allotted.

But, what do you do to keep them interested beforehand? You could email them individually with a lot of copy they’ll likely ignore. You could invest THOUSANDS on a volunteer management program that gamifies the experience. OR you could use video request.

Let video request do the work for you and message them on a regular basis during the lead up to your Giving Day with a different response to send back. Perhaps you want to know what they miss most about their student experience. Or you just want them to yell THANK YOU in the most creative way to compile a group video. Or maybe they talk a bit about why they give back or volunteer.

Ultimately, it’s all usable in your Giving Day campaign AND you’re keeping them engaged in the lead up to the big day, which is when their involvement truly counts.

3. Keep the College Fair Going.

College fairs are a necessary evil in the enrollment process. You’re thrust into [insert gymnasium of your choice] with, at times, hundreds of other potential institutions targeting the same students you’d like to earmark for your college or university.

Your admissions folks are on their A game, but, what if you could get a student to answer a question in short order? Add your phonathon students to be regularly messaged by an admissions team member or two, and have them record potential student questions to send off to the group.

Based on the response, the admissions officer can than follow up with the content ready to reference and continue the conversation beyond the fair, leaving your school standing out from the pack.

What are some ways you’re excited to use this new feature? I want to hear from you in the comments!
