With internet traffic being dominated by video consumption, it’s to your benefit to begin considering how your organization can enhance its approach to events with video. Not only does ThankView make it easy to send and track video communications, but video can impact your call to action in a positive way.

New to incorporating video into your event strategy? Here are three things to keep in mind:

1. Make sure your video is mobile optimized.

There’s nothing worse than going to watch a video and having to pinch the screen to get it to fit properly on your mobile device. Frankly, analysis shows that many don’t even take the steps to do so — they just abandon the page and the message is never delivered.

Thankfully, if you’re using ThankView, we’ve got you covered there.

2. Be real.

Genuine content always shines brighter than any scripted, highly produced marketing shtick. And ThankView allows you to send self-shot videos in a clean package that puts a spotlight on your message.

3. Don’t babble.

Make sure to keep your content straightforward and to the point. Attention spans start to wane after thirty seconds. We recommend a maximum video length of one minute, thirty seconds unless it’s a special send, such as a musical performance or greeting from a prominent individual.
