Honoring My Good Friend’s Tweet

Earlier today Donald Trump, the President of the United States, went on a bit of a Twitter rant. This isn’t something particularly out of the ordinary, he does this quite a bit. It’s sort of like “his thing”, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, in his rant he talked about how active and busy he is! Specifically, he said this:

This was, apparently, in reference to his communication team contradicting what he said, then saying they just hadn’t talked to him and didn’t mean to contradict him, then saying they never contradicted him, or whatever. Actually, I don’t care.

But then the President tweeted this little ditty:

Now this, in any other world, would be outrageous. Trump is sort of threatening, a fellow he just fired by suggesting/insinuating/ guessing, who knows, there are “tapes” (why the quotes?) of their conversations? What? Did Trump make “tapes”? Is he hoping someone else is? Is he saying Comey is going to be caught in a lie? If he did makes tapes, does he realize that’s what Nixon did and inviting comparisons to Nixon is, probably, not what he wants to do right now?

As I said, that would be outrageous in the real world. However, we are in the upside-down these days, and almost nothing the President does is surprising. Either way, my friend Tyler, on Twitter here, took these two Trump tweets, and made a good Tweet.

I’m the first one to admit that virtually every Tweet is bad. However, every once in a while, there are good Tweets. Since these are very few and far between, we here at TGYN felt it necessary to honor this one.

Way to go, Tyler, keep up the good tweets!
