Learn about your Vagina Benefits at www.vaginabenefits.com

People with vaginas have different healthcare needs than people who don’t.

Some might call this controversial. Or uncomfortable. Or fear that calling attention to this anatomical reality undermines women’s ability to be seen as “equal” to men. (Reminder: different doesn’t mean inferior!). But, it’s a fact. One that, if we choose to ignore, puts our health — and our wallets — at risk.

Our mission at Tia is to help people with vaginas make independent and informed decisions for their own bodies and lives — with confidence. To make this statement true — to succeed in our goal of giving people agency in their healthcare — we must first equip people with accurate and digestible information about their healthcare rights. Because if you don’t know what your rights are, how can you exercise them?

We created the Vagina Benefits to help bring some much needed transparency — and a dose of clarity! — into the insanely complicated, volatile world of healthcare and health insurance.

With the laws and the facts on the ground changing day by day, it’s impossible (yes, not humanly possible) for the layperson to stay in-the-know on their healthcare rights, undermining the ability for people to access quality, affordable care.

We think that needs to change.

So, we created a tool to get you in you in-the know on your healthcare rights and how to activate them. Find out what your Vagina Benefits should cost you with and without insurance, and what your state is doing (or not doing) to protect your access to key preventive health services essential to the health and livelihoods of all people with vaginas.

See how your state fares against our Vagina Benefits Index.

Whether or not you have a vagina, we believe every voice has a place in this conversation. As the Vagina Benefits Index shows us, it’s up to every individual, every employer, and every state representative to do their part to ensure the Vagina Benefits hold strong.
