Reimagining Women’s Health: A Marathon. Not a Sprint.
A Letter From the Tia Founders
With Tia, we aim to build a new model of women’s healthcare from the ground up. We know our mission is ambitious, but that does not shake our confidence and commitment. We know there is no silver bullet solution to fix women’s healthcare overnight. And with that, we know we’ve signed up for a marathon, and not a sprint. Four weeks into delivering care at the first NYC Tia Clinic, our understanding that women fundamentally want, need, and deserve better care has never been stronger, and we remain evermore committed to delivering exceptional care to Tia patients current and future.
Since opening our doors, we’ve experienced a rapid influx of new members beyond our wildest dreams — a testament that women want healthcare with soul, healthcare that’s personalized, actionable and integrative, and a community surrounding it. In our first four weeks, we’ve seen hundreds of patients who have affirmed that they feel seen, heard, and cared for at Tia — our north star that drives why we do what we do.
We recognize the privilege, opportunity, and immense responsibility that comes with women entrusting their health to us. We recognize that to deliver the best patient care, we must continue to deliver the best provider experience, too. And, we believe that to maintain our care promise to patients and providers alike requires slowing down before we can scale up.
With this in mind, we made the deliberate decision to temporarily pause on new memberships to first care for the hundreds of women we’ve committed to to-date. Before further expanding our membership base, our priorities are to:
#1: Expand our Care Team so we can maintain the intimate patient <> provider relationship integral to Tia Care.
#2: Ensure that all new members can book an appointment within 14 days of joining — upholding our commitment to convenient, accessible healthcare that fits with your schedule.
#3: Elevate Tia’s pre and post-appointment experience through higher-touch communication channels — extending Tia Care beyond our exam room walls.
Thank you for being on this journey with us — as members, supporters, and co-creators of our collective vision. This is just the beginning.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Tia Clinic still open?
Yes! The Tia Clinic is still open, operating and seeing patients daily. At this time, we are prioritizing existing patients who need follow-ups and patients with time-sensitive needs.
I am a current patient and have a time-sensitive need. Can I still reach Tia providers?
Yes! You can message the Tia Care Team at 1–833-CHAT-TIA and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours. We’ll do our best to schedule you an appointment at Tia, or if necessary, facilitate a referral elsewhere. Are you still selling memberships for the Tia Clinic?
Due to high demand, we are making new memberships available on a rolling basis. We are committed to ensuring all new members can book an appointment at the Tia Clinic within 14 days of joining. You will not be charged until there is a membership — and an appointment — available for you.
