“Here’s To The Ones Who Dream”

“Here’s to the ones who dream — as crazy as they may seem”

I just finished watching the (fairly) new film ‘La La Land’.

I thought it was great — I’m not going to ruin it for anyone who wants to see it and hasn’t done so but I think one of the messages in it that we can all relate to in some way…

• A struggling man with a vision of making a living out of his passion in life
• Then, ‘sells’ out to a steady job with a salary and almost forgets his dream

This is something I think we are all guilty of in life in some way.

I’m not saying quit your job tomorrow and go get your dreams because that would be irresponsible of me… We all have bills to pay and responsibilities.

BUT

What was it that excited you when you were younger?

What could you do tomorrow and the day after to get some of that back?

Could you re-kindle a passion or hobby that you have lost?

Could you make a living out of your passion if you worked at it and put plans in motion?

Think what we could do if we followed through with some of the ideas we had in our head.

All the great things that have ever happened started with an idea and a dream.
