I attended AWP 2019 — a writer’s conference. It had an expo that was literally packed full of booths full of small presses seeking submissions for writers.

I thought the best way to share the information I picked up might be to write a little information about each opportunity and collect them here in The Every Day Novelist publication. Each publication or workshop will get its own post and I’ll collect them here.

Be sure to follow The Every Day Novelist to learn when I add a new resource.

This database is a passion project. It would help me out a lot if you’d let me know that you’re interested in the resources with a comment or a clap. Thank you!

Broadsided Press had one of the coolest booths I visited during AWP. They are a micropress…they only accept submissions of work they can publish with art on a single sheet of paper — a broadsheet.

Then, they have a grassroots collection of ‘vectors’ who print the broadsheets at home and post them on billboards in their communities.
