Your Value — Your Worth

A man told me when I was 25 years old, “If you don’t believe in you, don’t be surprised if other people don’t believe in you.”

And that’s kind of where I was in my life. I was expecting other people to invest in me, pay me, reward me and be nice to me when I wasn’t even doing any of those things for myself.I was terrified to spend money on myself to invest in my skills or my career.

I look back I don’t know what I was thinking. Scarcity, a lack of belief in me, self-esteem issues, miseducation…whatever, Matters less why that what to do to change it.

I realize one day I’m worth more than any amount of money. What was I thinking to compare myself to hundred dollars or thousand dollars or even $10,000?

I started telling myself every day, “I am worth more than any amount of money.” And I started following up that affirmation with actions — investing in myself and validating myself in the actions I took each day. I did t start spending money on junk I invested in me. And everything changed. My first big investment wells $3000 for a training program. I was so proud and everything changed with that validation and investment in myself and probably why I’m doing what I do today.

I hope this helps,
