Sanders to Win Five More Primaries

There‘s only 13 presidential primaries left, and though Sanders seems doomed in terms of winning the nomination, it appears he will still win a few of the remaining states.

PredictIt, “the stock market for politics,” has accurately forecasted the outcome of the past primary elections 87% of the time.

PredictIt traders give Sanders at least an 80% chance of winning the following states:

The West Virginia Democratic primary occurs on May 10th.

The Oregon Democratic primary will take place on May 17th.

June 7th: Tears Before Bedtime for Bernie Supporters

Sanders supporters won’t have to accept defeat until the June 7th primaries. While Clinton is favored to win the most crucial races (California, New Jersey), he is expected to win three more contests.

The Bad News for Sanders

Even if Sanders wins all of those states, he still won’t be the Democratic nominee. The odds that Clinton will ultimately win are overwhelming: 91%, and rising.
