2022 is going to be a very disruptive year. Many trends are in ascendance and the speed of change is obviously accelerating. For the second year in a row, I have published a “A Look Into” mini-eBook at the start of the year to provide forecasts, rationale and a trend framework for what will happen this year. The forecasts from the 2021 mini-eBook published 1/1/21 have proven to be 80% accurate [ I missed 1/6/21 and the magnitude of the anti-vaccine sentiment]. As I always will, the price of this eBook is $.99. I hope that, for less than a package of gum, you might want insights about the coming year.

I regard this as a service to all friends and business associates who want context and insight in this most disruptive of decades. I share here with Medium subscribers.

The purpose of this book is not just to provide forecasts for the year, but to both provide rationale for them and to set these forecasts within the context of the macro-dynamics and trends. Such trends are Place to Space, Physical Reality to Screen Reality, Flow to Global, the Collapse of Legacy Thinking and some longer- term ones as well.

Forecasts cover such topics as inflation, equity markets, cryptocurrencies, the workplace, EVs, clean energy, Web 3, media and the Metaverse.

2022 is, of course a continuation of 2021, but there will be new developments, disruptions and accelerations as the 2020s is the most disruptive decade in history.

Happy New Year!
