Every person’s life is a conversation between the Divine and Humanity. We participate in our unique conversation with the choices we make, what we choose to believe, how we relate to others, and the strategies we use to get our needs met.

How we hold the conversation of our life has the potential to lead us to the life of our dreams or to lead us to a life of inner torment. The type of conversation that leads us to the life of our dreams is what I call a “thriving conversation” and the type of conversation that leads us to a life of inner torment is what I call a “surviving conversation.”

We are all called to embark on our hero’s journey from surviving to thriving. We are all called to learn how to hold a thriving conversation in our own stories and skin.

Each of the 9 Enneagram Types has their own unique surviving and thriving conversations that they can choose to participate in at any given time.
