Black Writers Weekend 2022, an event powered by AAMBC, will have Libro.fm as a partner!

Black Writers Weekend has been amplifying and celebrating Black creatives for over a decade through its festival and conference. It’s the largest gathering of Black literary creatives and filmmakers, complete with live readings, parties, movie screenings, and masterclasses.

This year, it will take place August 4–7, 2022 live in Atlanta, Georgia. Don’t forget to get your tickets for an amazing Lit experience.

Libro.fm has been supporting independent booksellers through their audiobook services since 2014. With close to 2,000 bookstores and over 10,000 bookseller partners, Libro.fm helps the local economy, creates jobs, and supports the community by splitting its profits with local booksellers.

Libro.fm also actively advocates for voices that should be heard and works to create an inclusive environment, making them the perfect partner to help showcase Black literary creatives.

Their partnership with AAMBC will include curating a live audiobook, Bookmarked! at Black Writers Weekend. The audiobook will include featured conversations and panels from the live events as well as engaging on-the-spot interviews hosted by podcasters Brittani Krystin of Nightmare Radio Show and J.C. from OVT Network. It will stream live exclusively on Libro.Fm this fall.

But don’t wait to listen to our live audiobook, grab your passes now and meet us in Atlanta. Visit Black Writers Weekend for passes, a featured talent list, and more!
