Politician. Lawyer. Activist. Author are a few titles of the former Georgia House of Representatives leader, Stacey Abrams. A member of the Democratic Party, Abrams founded Fair Fight Action in 2018 to address voter suppression in the south, specifically Georgia and Texas. In 2018 she was the Democratic party nominee, making her the first Black woman major-party gubernatorial nominee in the United States. Although she lost to current Governor of Georgia Brian Kemp, Abrams preserved and became the first Black woman to deliver a response to the State of the Union address. The zeal to break barriers and new pathways continue to be the plight of Stacey Abrams, now her fight for justice will be captured on the big screen.

All In The Fight For Democracy Documentary

With the anticipation of the 2020 Presidential Election Amazon Prime will be releasing the highly anticipated documentary All In: The Fight For Democracy. The film will examine the overlooked, yet insidious issue of voter suppression in the United States. The film interweaves personal experiences with current activism and historical insight to expose a problem that has corrupted our democracy from the very beginning. With the perspective and expertise of Stacey Abrams, the former Minority Leader of the Georgia House of Representatives, the documentary offers an insider’s look into laws and barriers to voting that most people don’t even know are threats to their basic rights as citizens of the United States.

In partnership with the film, the filmmakers with support from foundations, private funders, and Amazon Studios are launching #ALLINFORVOTING a non-partisan social impact campaign aimed at educating and registering first-time voters, mobilizing communities to turn out to vote, and training citizens to know their rights and report voter suppression.
