Spotlighting AAMBC Awards Romance Author of the Year Nominee: Christina C. Jones
Congratulations to Christina C. Jones for her AAMBC Awards nomination as Romance Author of the year. Ms. Jones along with four other phenomenal authors of African-American romance have been selected in the 15th AAMBC Awards nominee announcement presentation on May 1, 2023. Winners of the Romance Author of the year and various other literary-based categories will be announced at the 15th annual AAMBC Awards ceremony held August 6, 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia as part of Black Writers Weekend.
Best-selling romance author and digital media creator, Christina utilizes intricately-weaved tapestries of words to craft alluring stories of modern-day black romance. Ms. Jones creative literary works have been showcased in a variety of media outlets such as Oprah Winfrey Magazine Online, The Griot, and Shondaland to name a few. Christina’s ability to create an eclectic mix of urban characters and relatable storylines addressing various spectrums of black love allows a multitude of readers to indulge in her unique storytelling abilities.
Currently residing in Arkansas, Ms. Jones is a wife and mother of two who enjoys crafting and cooking as well as creating beautiful things through the utilization of her graphic design capabilities. Before embarking on the endeavor of writing full time, Christina successfully ran her own digital creative design studio: Visual Works. Ms. Jones writing career began in 2014 with the release of her first published romance book titled Strictly Professional. Ms. Jones has released an array of books and series such as A Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Catch Me If You Can, Inevitable Seduction, and The Reinvention of the Rose amongst other popular titles and series over the span of her writing career. Her books situated in different locales with a hometown urban feel are a favorite of multi-cultural readers everywhere.
