Word and Flesh

You are the Word,
thought unlimited by time and space,
the restrictions of matter.
You speak and it is done,
no distinction between idea and action,
no hesitation. A breath
and it is good.

You are the Son,
eternal yet haloed in history,
bound in blood and flesh.
You live and it is done,
the limit shattered,
infinity restored. A death
​brings us back to good.
