I’m Sorry I Lost Your Prayer Card

This zine is less formal than my usual work. Less bells and whistles.

I was born to two addict parents, myself also being born addicted to heroin. I went through severe withdrawal which led to me nearly being taken away from my family and being put in an incubator for a month.

My father is my hero. He was tragically shot in 2001. His life and legacy was clouded by his criminal history and drug use. My work has sought to give him the voice he needed.

This zine is a series of letters to my grandmother who is my main caregiver, my younger self, and to my father. Entirely hand written and/or cut up and pasted by myself.

Enjoy.
