AdEx to Partner with eSports Platform EloPlay
We are delighted to announce our partnership with the online eSports platform EloPlay. The platform plans on employing the AdEx ad serving network for its marketing, advertising and monetization efforts.
EloPlay was initially created to accommodate one-on-one eSports tournaments but quickly grew into a full-fledged platform able to host team tournaments, as well as quick battles. Players get rewarded for each victory they score on the website; these rewards were initially paid out in Bitcoin but EloPlay is implementing their own ELT tokens in the foreseeable future.
Over the past 18 months, the EloPlay team has been looking into blockchain as a solution to the issues experienced by traditional eSports platforms. They are introducing smart tournaments — events with decentralized prize pools. In addition to that, the platform supports sponsored tournaments which are organized by brands and companies to offer additional advertising opportunities. All tournaments can be streamed on Twitch.tv.
The EloPlay team plans to present an ad module that will offer a source of revenue for all of the participants in the advertising marketplace, including end users.
