Are you as bored with Unsplash as I am?

I’ll admit when I got started on Medium; I found it convenient to grab the first decent image I saw, especially because the required ‘image credit’ auto-fills for you without added steps.

But geez…the longer I’m on the platform, the more I see the same darn images used over and over again.

B-o-r-i-n-g!

I’ve also been known to mumble under my breath, annoyed— “shit, they used the same image I did on my story!” Like I own them or something, lol, “that was mine, dammit!”

I’m sure you’ve also noticed there aren’t other search options (like vectors and illustrations), not to mention orientation filters. And if you decide against an image, you have to start all over again to find where you left off— yawn — what a time waster!

I’ve seen recommendations to do a deep search in Unsplash instead of grabbing the first one that catches your eye to avoid some of the overuse, but when I do that, I find the images reduce in quality and no longer fit the search criteria.
