“You can take the boy out of Bombay; you can’t take Bombay out of the boy, you know.”
- Salman Rushdie

“Mumbai is a temporary affair you can visit time and again, but not permanent love that can heal your pain.”
— Sheel

The restless feeling of having rested your head on Bombay’s lap comes to life when the streets show nothing but colossal structures wanting to unite with the skies. Vertical structures that are surrounded by the grandeur of sea and bottled in the glamour of land. But amidst the enormity lies an umbilical cord that leads to an embryonic essence of living. Like most, if you too have a bag-pack zipped with dreams, the magnitude is bound to leave you spellbound. Not to forget the tinge of fear that never leaves you alone. Doesn’t matter what you’re here for, Bombay embraces you and shows you the way… The way destined to the destination deserved…

Bombay probably is the only city which is interpreted in a billion different ways by a billion different people. Yet, every interpretation unfolds a new dimension and all explanations seem valid. Ultimately, Bombay is about finding, accepting and embracing yourself. Simply because the city embraces you wholeheartedly. There’s a lot one learns in Bombay. More so, from Bombay.

Primarily, Bombay teaches you selfless generosity. Despite being crowded, everyone finds a place. Bombay enjoys a variety of living — there’s Dharavi and there’s also Mannat. Bombay never drives anyone away. While you blend in Bombay, Bombay blends in you.

“I love Bombay. The city has the ability to calm you amidst chaos.”
- Kapil Muzumdar

Weird yet wonderful.

Bombay is more than a city. It’s a culture one slowly learns to live by. When in Bombay, you learn to accept people with their flaws. You realise that is where the charm lies. Because Bombay as a city is flawed. The weather isn’t right, the traffic is a headache and travelling takes time. Yet, Bombay happens to be the hub to all happenings.

The prettiest thing about Bombay is that it has no notions of the right and the wrong, the moral and the immoral. Bombay doesn’t judge you by your situational doings, of which history lies witness. The city has played a prominent role in the rise and seldom the fall of businessmen, film-stars and gangsters alike. No matter what your perspective to life, Bombay rewards your capabilities nonetheless.

When a city has imperfections too, why are humans expected to be perfect?

“People in Bombay connect over momentary relations.”
- Shraddha Kalani

“A city that stands a true testimony to the adage — survival of the fittest.”
- Raveen Gaikwad

Thank You Bombay for being an immense inspiration to me and millions of others.

“Mumbai Never Says No To Anyone

Mumbai — a city where the crowds adhere to the clock. Crowds, that are distinct and diversified, yet, unique and united. Crowds that carry ambitions through the rushing roads and the halting cars; the towering terraces and the busy bazaars. Crowds that continue arriving. Crowds that continue thriving. Crowds that continue surviving.

Amidst all the chaos resides charisma. Amidst all the madness reside moments. Though Mumbai is a collage of realms, the city has a home secured for everyone’s dreams.

The city’s charm? Mumbai welcomes you with wide open arms.”

Well, that’s all for today.

Keep reading, keep sharing and never stop believing!

“Mumbai’s infectious. Once you start living in Mumbai, working in Mumbai, I don’t think you can live anywhere else.”
- Yash Chopra
