#theFridayFeature — Manasi Iyer
“When I had hit rock bottom, my baby sister had said something that I will never forget. It was ‘People will fail you, but when you invest your time and efforts in your work, it will never fail you.’ I have since then followed and have not been let down, not once.”
- Manasi Iyer
Going through Manasi’s reply on the questionnaire I’d sent, I realized how similar people with a creative force behind them are. They may seem varied but are truly born from the same core. For instance, most creative individuals are born with a bend towards a social cause. In Osho’s words, ‘creativity is opening doors for the unknown, the unknown takes charge using you as a medium’. Maybe, common qualities are ways of embracing the unknown.
Mansi is —
- Operation Manager @ Wiztrah
- Partner @ Impact Box
- Marketing // Training Enthusiast
- Former Copywriter
Reflecting back on her childhood, she says,
“I always wanted to be a part of/or the catalyst of the change that I wanted to see around me. Since I could easily articulate my thoughts the idea of writing or getting into a line related to communications seemed the most logical choice. As a kid I always had the aspiration to help those around me who were in need of it. This passion has become stronger with each passing day. I hope that one day I will be able to materialize it way better than I can afford to now.”
Brushing past Manasi brings you back to the realization of how important a role belief plays in our lives. No matter what we believe in, what remains crucial is to believe resiliently letting that belief drive us in directions that we are destined to travel. Like me, Manasi too began her journey as a Copywriter which opened up for her several doors of unchartered explorations.
“Since I was 4, I have been a devout Christian in my belief. I am a firm believer that His will prevails and that we are all born to carry out his command. This belief became stronger as I studied Hinduism and Islam that echoed the same ideologies through different schools of thought.”
- Manasi Iyer
In today’s times, are we so clear that our beliefs are blinded?
Although I haven’t been fortunate enough to work with Manasi, my learning from the few interactions we’ve had has always been ‘to be grateful for the people life has blessed you with’. We as humans are so deep into pessimism that we are slowly doing away with a quality that other animals either have in excess or don’t at all — ‘gratitude’.
Manasi being cheery, bubbly and extremely talkative; constantly, through her words makes you question on how grateful you truly are? Half hour into the conversation, the way she describes how supportive her friends have been throughout her life, you begin to discover the worth of people around you.
“In Kapil’s words (rather word), it was Serendipity that brought me to him and to advertising. Once I was a part of it, there was no turning back! Kapil introduced me to advertising when I started working with Adnest. I had no idea that that I had the flare to be part of this industry that even after 5 years has not ceased to teach me and awe me. I will always be indebted to both PB and Kapil for opening this door of unending possibilities for me.”

Through a happy accident again, Impact Box happened. The only person who should believe in the journey is you yourself and no one else. It isn’t for the world to fathom and appreciate, it is for ‘you’. No matter how much the world undermines what you do, your actions require your faith alone. And a time comes when results begin to yield and everyone else discovers what the journey truly meant.
“Impact Box was another episode of Serendipity that caught me off-guard when I least expected it. I was introduced to the industry of training when I worked at WNS and then Exl. I started exploring the avenues to learn and implement the skills of a trainer. In January 2017, I completed my diploma at Dale Carnegie and became a certified soft skills and behavioral trainer.
After I stopped working at TJ’s Brew Works, I wanted to take off as a freelance trainer, that’s when Palak happened. Palak and I know each other since we were 7. Impact Box is her brain child but she was on the lookout for someone who could partner with her and build and grow the brand. It was destiny for us to come together and make Impact Box happen.
“Remember that wherever
your heart is, there you will
find your treasure.”
- Paulo Coelho
The journey has but started and my transition into her agency, Wiztrah has only brought us closer. There is nothing better than finding your entrepreneur soulmate. Palak and I now plan to take both Wiztrah and Impact Box places that people only dream of.”
