Rules (also an update) for Nick’s Ol’ GoT Reviews — 2016 Edition
Another year, another Game of Thrones. This year I’m going balls to the wall with GoT coverage. You might ask yourself, “Nick, balls to the wall? What a classic! But what do you mean?”
Well, this year — as it has been for the last, what, six years — you will see the standard reviews go live the day off airing / the next day, but I want to let you know that every week I’ll be recording a podcast with an assortment of friends who are all Game of Thrones experts! I know, right? I can see it in your face:
“Holy fuck, Nick, I just voided my bowels with excitement.”
They’ll all be part of the Definitely Not Popcorn podcast, which is the pop culture, movie, TV podcast I’ve been hosting for the last two and a half years, and you can subscribe on iTunes or your favourite podcast provider by CHECKING THIS LINK.
Now, generally speaking, book spoilers have been forbidden when it comes to these but I think we’re all at a point where we’re on parity with our stories now and, apparently, we’re truly ahead of the books for the most part. However, while my personal policy on spoilers has changed, someone else’s might not have, so please be respectful of what you spit out in comments. I don’t wanna see vitriol towards others, because if I see that you’re being a shitbird I’m going to pull my hand out of this bag of Doritos and send your shit straight to Mars so we can use it as fertiliser for our new civilisation of assholes — lead by you.
So if you don’t like reading this shit, now you can listen and enjoy my sultry voice with some other sultry voices. I just ask that you all be pleasant to one another.
