Everyshore | in rerum natura

composed in pentameter.

Upon sea-plains shorn at firmament’s end
where the spokes of Phoebus the waves do bend,
where sea-nymphs embrace in the boundless view,
rock’d hither — thither — in a violet hue.

Rippling — twirls the nascent and gloaming night
Rage — Rage against the heirloom thunder’s might!
That land-borne creatures and the glimmering star
might foment in sea-foam, sea-forms afar.

Whorling for an orchestral, phantom gaze —
evermore — evermore — evermore ablaze
with raving — enraptured — rapacious soul
dragged unto shore in viridian folds.

incessant, immense, and forever-more,
sing the roving tides of this everyshore.

from Apollo Bay, Vic.
at high tide
with heavy thunderstorms.
