We fit a lot into our summer months. Revamping brands for fall launches, summer time team-building, and (as per usual) an event or two. With so much going on, I thought I’d focus in on a few of the biggest projects Agency worked on. Here’s a snapshot into August at Agency Media.

Events + Social

Agency Media never goes too long without throwing a party. This month it meant hosting the Hangar Hangout — a night of networking and inspiration from leading brands on innovation in business. The event brought out over 300 people, 11 incredible speakers, and amazing food and drink vendors.

We had the honour of working alongside representatives from MEC, Herschel, Tentree, Microsoft, JJ Bean, BC Business, Four Winds, and more. Eric Turmeunde led our panel in discussion as we heard from some of the most successful businesses in our city talk about how they stay ahead.

We worked hard to make sure this event was not only marketed well but engaging. It was a chance to show off Hangar Hangout and take networking to a new level.

Here are our just a few of our social team’s favourite takeaways:

Video

With the sunny weather this month, it meant getting in as many shoot days as possible. By the end of the month, we totalled 24 shoots in 31 days.

One of our most unique projects this month was with Headcheck Health, an app created to make concussion diagnosis fast and accessible. The mobile checklist guides the user through concussion protocol for immediate diagnosis and steps to recovery.

The client approached us looking for a sales and marketing tool that would help them reach coaches and teachers. The goal was for them to better understand the tool and what it could bring to their athletes.

This project was a very unique situation that required a seemingly impossible timeline. We managed to shrink an entire video production (which usually takes a couple months) into less than two weeks.

Our video team pulled out all the stops to make it happen. In seven days, we planned, shot, edited, revised, and sent it off to the client. Check out the final video below.

Even with a limited timeline and busy shoot schedule, it was awesome to see our video team pull through with an amazing product.

We’ve got websites and more videos coming down the line so be sure to get looped into our newsletter and stay tuned for what September holds!
