The company is lowering the barrier of entry to its popular chatbot, so now anyone with internet access can use it. The move aims to democratise access to AI, making it more accessible to anyone curious about its potential.
To use ChatGPT without an account, simply log in to the website and type in the dialogue box. This option reduces the step required, although you will have the alternative of creating a username to access your query history. OpenAI confirmed that the implementation is gradual, so it may take some time to be reflected in your country.
ChatGPT uses the GPT-3.5 model for any free consultation. It is important to mention that the no-account access only covers the chatbot, as DALL-E and other advanced features require a ChatGPT Plus membership.
ChatGPT becomes more accessible and secure
Another addition has to do with privacy, as ChatGPT will include a feature that allows you to disable the use of your content to train the models.
