Day 1 of No Shave November for the Alamo Rangers

The Alamo Rangers protect the Alamo 24/7/365, so they are no strangers to a challenge. Their latest challenge is No Shave November, a good cause in good fun.

The Rangers will go without shaving for a whole month and will raise money to benefit the Prevent Cancer Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Fight Colorectal Cancer.

The aim of the challenge for the Rangers is simple: To embrace and appreciate their own hair, which many cancer patients lose; and to donate the the money they would normally spend on a month’s supply of shaving supplies.

In just a single week, the Rangers have raised more than half of their goal! You can follow their progress on the Official Alamo Facebook page. The Alamo and the Alamo Rangers encourage you to find a charity of your choice to give back to those in need this holiday.
