For November, the Alamo Rangers challenged themselves to raise money for Cancer charities in honor of No Shave November. The Rangers’ goal was to appreciate their own hair, which many cancer patients lose, and to donate the money they would normally spend on shaving supplies to the Prevent Cancer Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Fight Colorectal Cancer.
In total, the Rangers raised more than $500 for No Shave November.
“With the holidays here, and people thinking about the gifts they may get or the gifts they want to get for others, its important to take a step back and appreciate the things like your health, that can be easy to take for granted,” Mark Adkins, Chief of the Alamo Rangers. “I’m proud of my team for donating their time and money to this cause.”
The Alamo, and the Rangers, encourage you to find a charity of your choice this holiday season to give back to those in need.
