Finally, a detective, no more a sidekick! It is time for Saswata.

Like Abir acted as all the prominent detectives of Bengal, Saswata performed as all the prominent assistants (or sidekicks or satellites or whatever name you prefer) of those detectives. But finally his number has come! And we already knew he can do it better than anybody else.

Shirshendu Mukhopadhyay’s novellas are always good reads. A well executed movie from his story is a good watch as well. This movie falls into that category.

This is a story of a murder trail after a young lady was murdered at her own bedroom at the night of a big party. Everybody near and dear to her were invited and were present in the house at the night of the murder, thus the suspect list is long and the trail was fresh. Or was it? ACP Shabor Dasgupto from Lal-Bazar is on the case…and the hunt is on!

It may have some flaws like those chase scenes or domestic fights in front of a small kid. According to me they were really unnecessary, otherwise I have not much to complain. It has a good story line, good acting and good comic relief.

A good watch, I would recommend.
