Hello there, everyone. I’m Johnny Silvercloud.
I’m a 20-year U.S. Army veteran who became a bit of a civil rights photojournalist when I retired back home, in Washington D.C., from military service in full honor. I’m known for writing about the Black experience, racism, and sexism. I also speak on privilege systems like male privilege, cis-hetero privilege, and white privilege. As a Black military veteran, I can be for or against war.
One thing’s for certain: my sense of justice is unwavering. I can be wrong about something, but when facts are presented, I follow the facts. I can change my mind, but, it will be a hard argument to change my mind on this ethnic cleansing — genocide — the government of Israel is inflicting against Palestinians.
I don’t see how this is up for debate, but, 8–10 years of work definitely makes a professional. Doctors are infinitely considered professionals, being that 10–12 years of schooling tends to make them pristine at their profession. I’ve been doing warfare for 20 years. Just a thought.
