Trump Surprises Armada With Trip to Disneyland Instead!
There was some confusion surrounding the destination of a fleet of Navy ships last week. Sources now say that the armada, originally thought to be destined for North Korea, is actually headed for a different destination entirely: Disneyland!
In a statement, Trump announced, “They have no idea. They all think they’re going to war, but really we’re taking them to Disney. They’re gonna flip.”
Trump waited until they were almost to the Korean Peninsula, then called them on video chat to let them in on the surprise.
“Are you guys ready to see North Korea?” Trump asked an unenthusiastic crowd. “It doesn’t seem like you really want to go.”
Reports indicate that the sailors on the USS Carl Vinson were confused about the line of questions. They answered with murmurs and yawns. It had been a long trip and they were all a little cranky.
“No? Okay then.” said Trump through held-in laughter. “Let’s go somewhere else. How about…. Disneylaaaaaaand!”
In the commotion that followed, there were reports of “whoops” and “yahoos” erupting from the crowd. Many of the sailors stated that they had never been to Disney before and that this was a dream come true.
“It’s just nice to do something for the troops.” said Trump.
