the homeless person is not your enemy

the drug addict is not your enemy

the disabled person is not your enemy

the transgender person is not your enemy

the BLM ‘rioter’ is not your enemy

the person on welfare is not your enemy

the socialist is not your enemy

the person getting an abortion is not your enemy

the felon on a weed charge is not your enemy

the striking worker is not your enemy

the Black teen walking home at night is not your enemy

the anarchist is not your enemy

the communist is not your enemy

the non-binary feminist with colorful hair and a nose ring is not your enemy

the liberal arts major with a mountain of student loan debt is not your enemy

the insulin rationer is not your enemy

the caged migrant child is not your enemy

the refugee is not your enemy

the undocumented laborer is not your enemy

the fat person is not your enemy

the garbage man is not your enemy

the McDonald’s cashier is not your enemy

the abolitionist is not your enemy

the revolutionary is not your enemy

the sex positive woman is not your enemy

the climate activist is not your enemy

the immunocompromised person is not your enemy

the person with borderline personality disorder is not your enemy

the person with bipolarity is not your enemy

the person with chronic depression is not your enemy

the person who needs rest is not your enemy

the person who needs help is not your enemy

THE PEOPLE ARE NOT YOUR ENEMY —

the system is your enemy.
