EyeMyth Media Arts Festival, 2016

EyeMyth was born out of a need to create a space for the expression and exploration of all kinds of digital media. The need and lack of a platform in this space was what drove the concept behind a common space for like-minded people to meet, collaborate and celebrate technology-based art. Today, it is a multi-faceted platform that hosts both international and homegrown artists and creators, through an offering of workshops, showcases and conferences.

In 2016, EyeMyth partnered with the Japan Media Arts Festival to bring down a roster of Japanese artists to perform and present their work at the 2016. An indie video game showcase and AV performance at the 100-year-old Edward theatre in Mumbai were also showcased. In 2017, EyeMyth collaborated with ISDI Mumbai for a VR workshop and showcase, along with a speculative art exhibition and a conference on the future of immersive media with experts from around the world.

Over the years, EyeMyth has had multiple successful editions across Mumbai and New Delhi. It has partnered with organisations like the British Council and the Japan Media Arts Festival to bring a globalised offering to its audience.
